Abby says some pretty hilarious things these days. I was giving the girls a bath and Abby was noticing that Reese's breasts are smaller than hers. She said, "Reese has tiny boobies, I have bigger boobies, and (pointing to me) you have GIANT boobies", and she emphasized the word giant. I, of course, started cracking up. I told her yes, mommy's boobies are bigger than hers, but not exactly what you would call giant.
That will be the first and last time my chest is ever described as giant. But boy, it sure was good for a laugh!

Love my girls
Once again, I'm behind in posts. A lot of these pictures were taken a couple months ago or more. There's so little extra time, and so many cute pictures!
My parents have this REALLY old rocking horse toy that they have saved since I was a baby. The horses finally got some use with my girls, because I don't think my sister and I used them. Reese rocks on it like a rockstar. No fear! She even brings her baby doll along for the ride sometimes. Hold on, baby!

My girls cuddling in the morning like they do best.
Makeup is a big hit in our household. They're very good at putting it on. ;)Sleepover at Stella's
A couple months ago, Abby had a sleep over at Stella's house. Stella is by far her favorite friend from preschool. Jessica and Josh invited the whole family over for dinner and then Abby stayed when we left for the night.
Abby loves to take pictures with my phone these days, so here we are at dinner via Abby's photography ability.
The girls watching a movie...Brave.
Avery, Abby, Stella, and Reese. Cutie pies on the couch.
Ice cream for dessert
Reese and Avery enjoyed making a mess.
I found this one day in Abby's backpack. She had made it at school. So sweet!

Potty Training
Reese decided she wanted to try out the big potty after her bath. John is trying to persuade her to go "pee pee".
Abby joined in and tried to root for her sister. It was not a successful attempt, but at least she's showing interest.

Reese Updates
Boy oh boy, I don't know how two siblings can be so different, but mine are!
Here are some updates on Reese's development:
Insists on walking in parking lots and anywhere else where cars can hit her. She refuses to hold hands and then bolts away really fast while giggling.
Takes a drink of water and then purposely lets it dribble out slowly all over the floor.
Counts to 10 all the time.
Sings Rock a Bye Baby while rocking her baby doll.
LOVES balls (any type) and seems to prefer kicking with her left foot. Maybe I have a leftie here? She can also throw really well.
LOVES to draw and will say "want draw". Then instead of writing on paper or coloring books, she usually prefers to write all over clothes, herself, or the couch.
One of her favorite words right now is "WOW" and she says it with such enthusiasm. Another fave phrase of hers is "Abby did it".
Says "I love you" all the time.
LOVES to play outside and this is usually the first thing she will say to us when she wakes up in the morning. It's "play outside" or "eat".
Her speech has improved big time. She knows a lot of people's names now. When we go to pick up Abby from school, we'll walk in and Reese will yell "Hi Stella" and it is actually Stella. She loves to ask to play with Henry and Max down the street.
Gets into everything and anything she can.
She might even be more of a love bug than Abby was at this age. Very cuddly, gives lots of unsolicited hugs and kisses.
She has a little tom boy in her. She loves to play with cars and yells "big truck" whenever she sees any type of large vehicle. She'll even make the appropriate sound effects while playing with her cars.
Loves birds and airplanes and gets very excited to see either one in the sky. Also loves going to the park to go on the slides and swings.
Johnny calls her Bug now. We adore our little Bug!
Still loves dolls.
And trying on any shoe. Here she is in Mommy's Converse.
Curling the hair of Abby's American Doll.
I will never tire of watching my little girls in their sleep. And yes, she's still attached to those darn pacifiers.

John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt
And here's our version...(you'll also get a glimpse of Abby's sassiness as she yells at her daddy)
Just another day with Daddy
Often times when John is home with Reese while I'm working, I will get text messages from him and they are pics of Reese. Here are the few that he sent from Monday.
Eating her grilled cheese.
John did her hair in a ponytail style.

Little did we know at the time, but Reese had the beginning of roseola. Three days of fever and off to the doctor we went. Then as soon as her fever broke yesterday, the little red dots appeared on her neck and chest. Certainly doesn't bother her one bit though. She's still a happy go lucky little girl. Love that little smile!
We're Going Too!
Lately it is a big dramatic scene when John gets ready to leave on his trips. Abby will usually help him pack, and there are usually tears involved and lots of guilt put on Daddy.
One night Abby tried to see if maybe she could fit herself into Daddy's bag.
So of course Reese had to try too.
Look...they both fit. Off they go. Wonder if they'll get through TSA.

I can relate...
Even when we vacuum every single day, we will find Scout hair everywhere. We have even cut her hair super short, which helps, but still...
Found this on Facebook and it pretty much sums it up perfectly.

Outdoor fun
It is raining today, but yesterday was beautiful out. Last night we spent some time in the backyard with the girls. Reese enjoyed making a huge mess with the chalk and Abby rode her scooter.
